- Q. Does DMS own the equipment proposed?
- A. DMS Interim Solutions is the country's largest and most experienced mobile medical imaging rental provider. We currently own and operate over 50 mobile imaging systems dedicated to the interim rental fleet. Many of our competitors throughout the U.S. rely on our product availability as subleases to serve their customers. If the system provided does not meet your expectations or clinical needs, there is comfort in knowing that DMS has the backup product fleet to support our commitment to you.
- Q. Do the systems proposed meet all state, local and federal requirements?
- A. Every system that DMS Interim Solutions offers meets the highest manufacturer standards and fully complies with all state, local, and federal government agency requirements. DMS Interim Solutions only uses manufacturer certified systems to reduce product liability risks assumed by the health care facility.
- Q. When does the rental term begin?
- A. All rentals from DMS Interim Solutions begin upon the completion of installation and the verification from the equipment manufacturer that it meets all manufacturer specifications. Every attempt is made to deliver equipment several days prior to the anticipated start date to allow time for the unexpected. Please contact us if you require advance delivery due to construction build-out.
- Q. Does DMS provide staff on-site when the equipment arrives?
- A. From initial site planning through delivery, setup and applications training, our highly trained and experienced personnel are on-site with you every step of the way.
- Q. How long does it take to set-up the mobile trailer?
- A. If the site has been properly prepared and the appropriate personnel are in place, you can plan on 4-6 hours for trailer set-up. We take responsibility for system setup, power connections, electrical phase checking, phone installations, camera network installations, information systems installations, system checkout, safety training, trailer in-service, coordination of service trades, applications, assigning magnetic field warning zones and making certain everything is cleaned, inventoried and working properly.
- Q. What are the hours of operation for interim rentals?
- A. All rentals from DMS Interim Solutions are unrestricted and available for your use 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
- Q. Is applications training available for the equipment delivered?
- A. Application training is available for every system we deliver. With DMS Interim Solutions you can count on highly trained, accredited professionals with years of experience specific to your piece of equipment. DMS Interim Solutions cuts no corners and carries full liability and workers compensation insurance on each individual.
- Q. Is ongoing Applications Support offered?
- A. Our OEM service agreements provide you with immediate access to the manufacturer's toll-free Applications Support Hotline. In addition, we employ modality certified Application Specialists that are available either on-site or by phone to answer any questions you may have. We provide the added comfort and assurance of knowing that your clinicians and patients are properly served while all applications issues are promptly addressed.
- Q. Can DMS staff the mobile for the entire rental term?
- A. Upon request, DMS can provide modality certified technologist staffing to meet the needs of your hours of operation.
- Q. What site preparation is required for a mobile system?
- A. Site preparation includes a relatively level asphalt or concrete pad to park the mobile trailer on, an adequate power supply (480 Volt AC, 3 Phase, 125 KVA, fused at 150 Amp service), and phone and networking lines if required. - Q. What is the exclusion zone for an MR mobile system?
- A. Our mobile MR systems are actively shielded so the 5 gauss exclusion zone falls within the walls of the trailer. People with neurostimulators, cardiac pacemakers and other such devices should stay outside of 5 gauss.
- Q. Does the mobile need to be ramped up and down when moved?
- A. No, the mobile MR system is transported at field, so no extra time is required to ramp the system up or down.
- Q. Does DMS provide an Uptime Guarantee to ensure system performance?
- A. DMS Interim Solutions guarantees a combined 90% system uptime on both the imaging equipment and mobile trailer. Financial reimbursement remedies are contractually provided within each rental agreement.
- Q. Who provides maintenance to the imaging equipment?
- A. All mobile systems provided by DMS Interim Solutions are serviced by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or OEM certified service engineer. This level of service guarantees you prompt, qualified service support while maximizing the uptime performance of your system. - Q. Who do I call if I have a problem with the trailer?
- A. A single phone call to the DMS 24-hour Service Call Center puts you in immediate contact with one of our qualified service engineers. Depending upon our initial phone diagnosis, we dispatch the most qualified and local service trades to repair your mobile as quickly as possible (866-375-0701).
- Q. Is there a guaranteed response time to service requests?
- A. DMS Interim Solutions guarantees immediate service telephone response and will dispatch the appropriate service personnel required. Our OEM service agreements provide you with immediate access to the OEM service technical support hotline to assist in any way possible with remote diagnostics in a total effort to get you back up and running without delay.
