Education for Technologists and Physicians

DMS Health Technologies is dedicated to providing comprehensive education, training and support to our customers. We offer equipment orientation and training on all purchased equipment in all modalities. Both off-site and on-site training may be available. You and your Account Manager will determine specifics of the training opportunities.

On-Site Training

At the time of system handover, DMS Health Technologies, Philips Medical Systems North America, or other vendor as applicable provide training focused on "hands-on" system operation in your clinical setting with personalized instruction.

ARRT registered technologists are in most instances eligible to receive Category A Continuing Education Credits for their training. Credit is obtained through the ASRT.

Specific information can be obtained through your Account Manager.

Off-Site Training

The success of the Philips Medical Systems North America reality-based training program is a direct result of their relationships with luminary facilities. These Centers of Excellence open their doors to customers, offering the practical, true-to-life training in clinical settings - under actual clinical conditions.

The off-site training programs quickly immerse students in a learning-friendly environment. Staff efficiency accelerates as a result of having seen the equipment used during actual procedures. Students learn the "best practices" and workflow process management strategies of world-renowned facilities in a compelling, real-world setting unmatched by any factory-based training facility.

Product Training

Philips CT systems purchases may provide you with an opportunity for both off-site and on-site training. The DMS Health Technologies CT Specialist will travel to your site to interact with your technologists and physicians. Your technologist(s) and/or physician(s) may be able to attend a Philips off-site training course as well. All training may be arranged through your Account Manager.

Philips MRI system purchases also provide the opportunity for off-site and on-site training. On and Off-Site training will be provided through Philips Medical Systems and may be arranged through your Account Manager.

All Radiographic, Fluorographic, Vascular, Cardiac and Surgical C-Arm System purchases provide hands-on, on-site training with a DMS Health Technologies Clinical Education Specialist.

With the purchase of an Ultrasound System, your Account Manager will make available follow-up and specially tailored applications. Specifics of training will be arranged through your Ultrasound Account Manager.

Online Learning Center

Anyone involved in radiologic technology or radiology healthcare administration can benefit from The Online Learning Center. And thanks to the web, the online learning center is available to everyone 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week. Technologists can earn those important Category A credits necessary to maintain their registries. Radiology healthcare administrators can stay up-to-date on the latest trends in finance, management and imaging.
